Syhem joined the Identity team at Alkemist Labs in 2016 after graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Over the next 3 years, Syhem rapidly advanced from HPTLC Lab Technician to an HPTLC Chemist, and became the HPTLC Production Supervisor in 2019. Since then, the department has seen tremendous growth in the scope of identity testing, and the size of the department, as well as the turn-around time for routine samples.
