Alkemists Labs announces plans for expansion next month to effectively double its’ capacity and through-put for botanical and natural product sample analysis. “We’ve been planning for strategic growth for some time now and are implementing an aggressive approach to meet customer demand,” says Elan Sudberg, COO of Alkemist Labs.

Currently Alkemists Labs processes roughly 200-300 unique samples per week across their three analytical services lines encompassing HP-TLC, HPLC and Microscopy. The expansion will enable the team to target processing approximately 600 samples per week, with a primary emphasis on its core niche offering of HP-TLC services to the Industry. “By increasing our capacity to this level, we’ll attract more of the largest of Dietary Supplement Manufacturers because we can support them without any missteps or compromise on quality. Simultaneously, we will be able offer the same level of service to the smaller herbal companies to continue helping them grow,” says Sudberg. 

The expansion, which is slated to last 10 weeks, will enable the Alkemists Labs to also increase HPLC capabilities and enhance offerings for related services sought by its’ customer base in the areas of Stability Studies and Shelf Life Testing, De-formulation Services and Method Development & Validation.
